We are excited to welcome Autumn MacClaren as one of the newest members of the Rotary Club of Traverse City!
Autumn recently joined Cherry Capital Airport as the Director of Air Service Development and Marketing. She brings over a decade of aviation experience, including her previous role at Flint Bishop Airport. Before her aviation career, Autumn worked in broadcast journalism, reporting across Mid-Michigan, southern Appalachia, and South Carolina’s Pee Dee region.
Her love of food and travel has deep roots in the Grand Traverse region, where family culinary adventures first sparked her passions. Now back in the area, Autumn is enjoying rediscovering all the region has to offer while deepening her community connections.
Autumn is eager to get more involved locally and looks forward to serving alongside her fellow Rotarians. Please join us in giving her a warm Rotary welcome!

Join us in supporting recovery efforts inSanta Maria de Jesús, Guatemala, following the devastatingJuly 8th earthquake. This trip, organized byJohn Cox (Rotary Club of Traverse City member and Mission Impact staff), will focus on repairing homes and assisting with ongoing construction projects coordinated by Mission Impact, our trusted non-profit partner.
Over the years, the club has partnered with Mission Impact and other Rotary clubs to support several schools in Santa Maria, including Proximo Pasos Elementary, New Hope Nursing School, and a lab technician school. Adental hygienist school is also currently under construction.
The team will focus primarily onhome repair projects and ongoing work at the nursing school, with potential opportunities to engage with local vocational student ministries. Accommodations will be provided at the Mission Impact Santa Lucia Community Center, about 30 minutes from Santa Maria.
Please note that due to the recent earthquake and evolving relief needs, the itinerary may change as the team works closely with Mission Impact to ensure efforts are directed where they aremost impactful.

Need Help Promoting Your Event? To improve both internal and external communication, the Communications Committee has created a Communications Request Form.
Whether you need a meeting or bulletin announcement, or you're looking for PR support like social media posts or press releases, this form is the first step. Simply fill it out, and Liz will follow up with you to create a communications plan. Click the button below to find the form.
With so much happening in our club, it's best to submit your request as early as possible to allow plenty of time for planning and promotion. The more details you can provide, the better!
You’ll find the form linked in the bulletin every week, and it will also be added to the website once updates are complete.
If you have any questions or run into technical difficulties with the form, please email Liz at admin@traversecityrotary.org.
