Christmas Baskets
Once again our club will be adopting families from across the region this Christmas. This program will not only provide food, other essentials, and of course toys to families, but it also lets them know our club cares about them. There are two ways for each of you to participate in this wonderful tradition. First, you can make a financial gift. You can do this by letting Liz know you'd like her to bill your Rotary account or you can make a gift by cash or check in the red envelopes placed on the tables at the next meeting. The second way to participate is by shopping. If you want to be a shopper you can contact Steve Wade at swade@gtrcf.org
BATA Bus Tour
BATA Bus is offering Rotarians a tour of their new facility on the corner of Hammond & LaFranier Rd. They would love for us to see how the project is coming along and to share with us all the great things this new home will provide for them to help our community. The tour will be on November 16th at 3:30pm and if you'd like to attend please contact Kelly Dunham at dunhamk@bata.net
Matching Grant Opportunity
The Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation will be matching donations made by Rotarians to 501(c)(3) nonprofit, educational, and governmental organizations within Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, or Leelanau counties. You can have up to $250 matched annually and you can donate to multiple organizations if you wish. Applications need to be submitted by December 1st to Liz at admin@traversecityrotary.org or you can mail them to 13170 S. West Bayshore Dr. Suite 108, Traverse City MI 49684. We highly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity and if you need a copy of the application you can find that here. If you have any questions you can contact Steve Wade at swade@gtrcf.org
District Governor Elections
The district is looking for Rotarians who would like to run for the position of District Governor for the 2026-27 year. Applications need to be submitted soon, so if you are interested or if you have any questions about the job you can contact John Hall at president@traversecityrotary.org
