Iceman Cometh

We’re looking for 2 more helpers to complete our 8-person team for the registration desk at the Grand Traverse Resort on Friday, November 7, from 12:00–3:00 p.m. Volunteers will greet riders, assist with check-in, and help keep things running smoothly during one of northern Michigan’s most exciting events.

This is also a great opportunity to earn money for our club while representing Rotary in the community. If you can lend a hand, please send an email to Liz at admin@traversecityrotary.org to claim one of the remaining spots!

New Member Alert!

We are thrilled to welcome new member Tara Mager!

Tara serves as the Superintendent of Northwest Education Services, where she supports 16 public school districts, 11 private schools, and 7 public school academies across Antrim, Benzie, Kalkaska, Leelanau, and Grand Traverse counties. With a career spanning over two decades in education, Tara has held roles as a guidance counselor, principal, and superintendent in Saginaw and Midland counties before leading the Clare-Gladwin Regional Education Service District.

She brings to Rotary a deep passion for rural innovation, mentorship, and learner-centered systems that help students and communities thrive. A proud Rotarian since 2020, Tara embraces the organization’s mission of Service Above Self and is eager to continue fostering connections that strengthen schools and communities.

Outside of work, Tara enjoys running, exploring northern Michigan’s natural beauty, and spending time with her husband and four children. We’re thrilled to have her join our Rotary family!

Communications Request Form

Need Help Promoting Your Event? To improve both internal and external communication, the Communications Committee has created a Communications Request Form.

Whether you need a meeting or bulletin announcement, or you're looking for PR support like social media posts or press releases, this form is the first step. Simply fill it out, and Liz will follow up with you to create a communications plan. Click the button below to find the form.

With so much happening in our club, it's best to submit your request as early as possible to allow plenty of time for planning and promotion. The more details you can provide, the better!

You’ll find the form linked in the bulletin every week, and it will also be added to the website once updates are complete.

If you have any questions or run into technical difficulties with the form, please email Liz at admin@traversecityrotary.org.
