Sonya Rose Laws is New Club Admin
by John Noonan

I have had the pleasure of working with Sonya during her onboarding process. Sonya is a poised, curious, and articulate young woman. She is intelligent and focused. She is also a problem-solver and self-starter. Sonya has “hit the ground running,” picking up the many facets of the Club Admin position quickly.

Most importantly, Sonya “gets” Rotary. During 2016-2017, she was a Rotary Youth Exchange Student at Slagelse Gymnasium in Slagelse, Denmark. Sponsored by her host club in Culpepper, Virginia, she spent a year in Denmark, staying with a series of host families, going to school, learning the language, and experiencing the country and culture. She understands the power of Rotary to transform lives at a fundamental level.
Please give Sonya a warm welcome to the Club the next time you see her.
