Mighty Mack Beers called the meeting to order and administered the pledge.
Cindy Ruzak offered thoughts of gratitude and reflection in which she said even though she's moving, Traverse City will always be home, and that's in large part due to her fellow Rotarians. She closed with an African proverb: If you keep your head and heart going in the right direction, you don't have to worry about your feet."
Chris DeGood gave an update from Rotary Camps and Services. In addition to discussing new staff, including new director Matt McDonough, he reminded everyone that ski and snowshoe equipment is available to rent at GOREC. Staff has been out grooming ski trails for an enjoyable experience.
Awesome Allison Beers asked everyone to better engage with the club's Facebook page. Following, liking or commenting on the page's posts help them be more visible to other community members. Emily Wilbert will also be helping out with a new feature called Member Mondays, which will feature short profiles of Rotarians.
