CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Jeff Hickman - Rotary Charities Update
-- Local funders are coming together with individual donors to build a fund to meet essential needs due to Covid-19: the Urgent Needs Fund at our local community foundation. To date, foundations and individuals have donated over $350,000.
-- So far, grantees are putting donations to work right away, providing: hygiene items, gas cards, rent and utility payments, services for people experiencing homelessness, food assistance, small business aid, tribal elder care, and domestic violence relief.
-- Your contributions matter. So far, individual Rotarians have given $3,100 to the fund. We hope you will consider making a donation to help our neighbors, who need urgent relief. Rotary Charities will match your donation up to $500. Thank you!
