- LEGACY GRANT REMINDER
In 2020, our Rotary Club will celebrate its 100th year of service to the community. We have made progress on our plan to celebrate this special anniversary. - NEW GRANT CRITERIA APPROVED
On May 31, the Rotary Charities Board approved the 2018 grant criteria! Some of the categories are new, and in addition to some of the great things we’ve always funded, we will be supporting new, systems-based initiatives, too. - ROTARY CHARITIES GETS A BRAND FACE LIFT
For years, Rotary Charities has been evolving. The roles that we play in the community have changed. How we invest our resources has changed. We’ve adopted a systems based approach in everything that we do. While all of our work has evolved, the way that we engage with the community we serve, has not.
During our 2017 strategic planning process we heard from the community that they were confused about the role we intend to play, and anxious about whether or not their work will fit with us. We know we need to do a better job communicating with all of our stakeholders.
In an effort to better engage the people we serve, on May 31, the Charities board approved a new set of brand standards for Rotary Charities. We selected a logo, and brand tone/themes that we will start weaving into all of our public facing work. The logo is up on the screen, and the brand essence is as follows:
