Help us welcome our newest member Dr. Jena Hullman. While she may be new to the Rotary club, she is probably a familiar face to many of us who have been her patient at Big Beautiful Life - a chiropractic practice she opened 11 years ago. When she isn't helping others on their health journey, she is likely practicing yoga, walking her two adorable bulldogs or traveling to exotic places with her children (ask her about her trip to an elephant sanctuary in Thailand the next time you see her!) Welcome, Dr. Jena!

What made you interested in joining rotary? Actually it was the Rotary Show, I grew up watching it and loved that there was a group of people having fun and raising money for great community causes.
What do you love the most about rotary? The people I have had the privilege to meet while attending several district 6290 conferences and the direct involvement in our community.
What has been your favorite program or volunteer opportunity with the rotary to participate in? The Rotary Youth Exchange program has been a highlight over the years and I LOVED being a host parent to two exchange students over the years, Lana from Croatia and Filip from Slovakia.
What keeps you with the rotary? The people and the volunteering. I love working with my fellow Rotarians on the greater good of our community.
What are you currently reading? Reading? You mean besides any book involving Lightning McQueen? ( I have a 2.5-year-old son, Andrew) Thursday is the New Friday: How to work fewer hours, make more money and spend time doing what you want. Written by one of my local mentors Joe Sanok. It might not be Cars, but the moral of the story is just as good. 🙂
What are you currently watching? Nothing that I should be... Thomas the Train and Paw Patrol anyone?
What is a fun fact about you? I have random fun facts like I have been 5 different mascots including one in college! I own 11 pairs of red shoes (converse tennis shoes all the way to red boots)

What made you interested in joining rotary? For more than 110 years Rotary has had a deep seeded commitment to community, locally and globally. The motto “Service Above Self” speaks to me deeply. What is a fun fact about you? I am the youngest of nine children and all of our names, including my mom and dad, start with either the letter “D” or “R” 😊
