All: We were humbled to learn this morning that the Michigan Legislature has appropriated funds in the amount of $2 million to the Discovery Center Pier! The funding will be used to improve the harbor, enhancing access and community use. They also appropriated funds to some other great community projects, including the Civic Square at $2 million, TART for the Leelanau Trail at $162,000 and GT County for improvements to the Civic Center amphitheater at $147,000.
