  • President “Awesome” Allison Beers called our chockful last meeting before the Holidays and the end of the year to order.

  • Rev. Homer Nye, who offered the opportunity to other members of the club to join him and the others who open our meetings each week as they seek to increase the number of committee members, offered thoughts of Gratitude and Reflection.

  • We sang a rousing chorus of “Jingle Bells” led by Marsha Minervini

  • Sid Lammers introduced our visitors and many guests to our jubilant celebration.

  • Outstanding Student intros were in the able hands of Benjamin Marentette this week as we met Concetta Brehmer and Jason Seekamp of TC West High.

  • President Beers put us on notice to be on the lookout for a mailed copy of the Bylaws that are being mailed to us prior to some updates that are forthcoming.

  • I.M Rotary has changed its meeting times to 11:45 am to enable participants to rejoin the regular meetings while still in session according to Mark Eckhoff.

  • Sakura Takano introduced new STRIVE committee person, Linda Racine and gave all a heads up on this year’s Career Day event on February 14th. Please Sign up…they are looking for about 40 mentors for this year’s event.

  • Jen Casey awarded over $4000 in funds from the 9/11 Honor Run to the Grand Traverse Public Safety Alliance! What a heck of a way to remember, acknowledge and thank our First Responders….

Dan Rickard had a quick reminder to make sure to get by the Copy Shop to pick up remaining Santa Gifts for families!
